The LGBTQIA Resource Center at Georgia Tech opened in Spring 2014 as a joint endeavor by the Division of Student Life (then the Division of Student Affairs) and Institute Diversity. The Center coordinates a range of programs and events throughout the year aimed at educating faculty, students, and staff about LGBTQIA issues, providing safe spaces for LGBTQIA students to build community and explore their identities, and facilitating conversations about LGBTQIA diversity, equity, and inclusion. Please visit their website for more information.
Pride Alliance is a Georgia Tech student organization for LGBTQIA students and their allies ( mainly targeted at undergraduate students). They host discussions, planning meetings, game nights, movie screenings, potlucks, and more. At the beginning of the school year, they have a series of Welcome Week events. Every October, we celebrate Out Week as well as march in the Atlanta Pride Parade. Please visit their website for more information.
